If you’re a Taylor Swift fan, and will be spending the next few weeks listening to her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, then why not do so with the singer’s apparent favourite cocktail, the French Blonde?

Featuring the delicate floral notes of St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, a gin base and a refreshing splash of tart grapefruit juice, the French Blonde is an ideal drink for spring and summer.

How to make the French Blonde cocktail

Fill your cocktail shaker with ice, add all the ingredients and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Strain into a chilled coupe to serve. (If you’re feeling extra fancy, garnish with a grapefruit twist).
