The hotel group commissioned food designers and culinographers Bompas & Parr to create the bespoke product, which is available at all thirteen hotel locations in the UK.

Anti-Ageing expert from the hit TV show 10 Years Younger, Nicky-Hambleton Jones, who worked with Warner Leisure Hotels on creating the unique drink, commented: "A gin for the skin you're in! For those that want to do everything they can to stay young, but don't want to give up alcohol, this is surely the next best thing.

“By including some classic botanicals known for their rejuvenating properties and combining it with drinkable collagen, it's the alcoholic equivalent of a facial. I'll drink to that!"

The 40 per cent spirit combines aromas of chamomile and tea tree, with a spicy hit formed of nettle, witch-hazel and gotu kola complementing a classic base of juniper, coriander and angelica root. Anti-aGin lingers on a cardamom finish.

The ingredients were specifically chosen due to their revitalising qualities, including healing sun-damage, being rich in minerals, inhibiting scar formation and to help smooth cellulite.

Marc Caulfield, Head of Marketing at Warner Leisure Hotels comments: “Our guests are predominately over 50, but they are all young at heart and love to stay social and drink and dance long into the night. We wanted to create a product that not only tasted great, but could help you feel younger. The classic Gin & Tonic has been updated to the Skin & Tonic!

“Anti-aGin is a cheeky thank you to our guests for keeping our hotels fun and young, as well as a new drink we could see becoming very popular around the country. Cheers to that.”

Fiona Pemberton (pictured above), 48 from Birmingham, who has tried the collagen infused spirit, commented: “I can’t believe a product like this has never existed before! As a woman in her late 40s, I’m always on the lookout for the next anti-ageing product, so this means I can still have a social life whilst caring for my skin.

Where has this been all of my life? I’m going to recommend it to all of my friends.”

• The gin is available here and has a RRP of £34.99.
