Whisky Talks: Dates, tickets and what to expect as drinks event comes to Inverness and Aberdeen

An event ideal for whisky fans keen to get an insight into the industry is coming to the north of Scotland in November.

Whisky Talks, a series of events around the whisky industry, is coming to Aberdeen and Inverness in November.

Created by former brand ambassadors, Mitch Bechard and Fraser Campbell, Whisky Talks had sellout success in Edinburgh and Glasgow earlier this year - and now bigger and more immersive events are coming north.

Whisky Talks promises an unparalleled blend of knowledge-sharing, tastings, and networking.

It celebrates Scotland's rich whisky heritage while exploring the innovations shaping the industry’s future. Each event will be unique, offering different themes, speakers, and experiences to ensure that no two Whisky Talks events are identical.

Whisky has been on the rise for the last few years, with exports topping £6bn within the last year. It’s not just a drink, it’s a cornerstone of Scottish culture and a driving force in the country’s economy.

Whisky Talks is set to amplify this heritage while addressing future challenges facing the industry, such as sustainability, evolving consumer trends, and the role of independent bottlers.

Speaking on the significance of Whisky Talks, co-founder Fraser Campbell said, “We’re thrilled to bring Whisky Talks to cities like Aberdeen and Inverness, which have played an essential role in Scotland’s whisky history. These events are designed not only to educate and inspire but to connect whisky lovers with the heart of the industry.”
