The team behind the indoor street food market which featured some of the finest traders and food trucks Scotland has to offer, were expecting a turnout of around 1,000 food fans for their first event.
What they weren't prepared for was the sheer demand for tickets with around 2,500 people turning up on the day.
Having only expected, and prepared, for less than half that number, the event's team say they vastly underestimated Glasgow's desire for a serious street food offering.
Co-founder Jonathan Stipanovsky was delighted by the turnout but was quick to thank guests for their patience, he said: "The traders had all been briefed to stock for around 1,000 people so through no fault of their own they very quickly ran out of stock, although most of them heroically ran back to their units to get more food."
Stipanovsky explained that now they have smoothed out the teething problems and know what to expect, they won't have the same problems for their next event on the weekend of the 25th of March, he added: "Moving forward we have increased the number of street food traders (all of who have been briefed on expected footfall) along with some of the finest home made cake in Scotland from our guest baker.
"Our guest brewer (Out of town Brewers) will be situated at the new extended bar with double the bar staff and we will be watching queues times and communicating with the door staff on numbers through the door.
"It goes without saying the team at Big Feed are absolutely delighted with what we have created and the fantastic response we've had and can't wait for the next new and improved chapter at the end of this month."
On offer at the event was a diverse selection of high quality street food, from authentic Asian and Mexican inspired cuisine and fresh Scottish seafood to delicious burgers, wood fired pizzas and vegan fare, there will be something for everyone to choose from.
Scottish street food legends Chompsky and the Street Food Putter Club featured alongside newer vendors like Firedog, Charlie Mills Coffee and Shrimp Wreck.
Edinburgh’s Campervan Brewery also an appearance, serving up a range of distinct hand crafted beers, whilst mobile Prosecco bar Fizz Buz provided the bubbly for the occasion.
