McQueen Gin launches innovative Coconut and Lime flavoured gin in partnership with Sainsbury’s

McQueen Gin has teamed up with supermarket chain Sainsbury’s to launch an innovative Coconut & Lime flavoured gin in stores across Scotland.

McQueen Gin developed what they say is a world-first with the new flavour that brings a '"real taste of the Caribbean" to the consumer.

The brand, which has made its name for being experimental with its flavours and products, made the announcement following news that it had secured contracts with several major retailers throughout the country, including Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Morrisons and Asda.

Dale McQueen, co-founder and managing director of McQueen Gin stated that they had really pushed the boundaries with this latest product and they were delighted to be able to work with Sainsbury’s to create it, he said: "We wanted to develop something completely different and unique, which is both exciting and bold. With its lime green colour, our latest craft creation is as tropical as it looks, and you’ll see that it really stands out.

"Creating adventurous gin flavours is part of our DNA here at McQueen Gin and we’re very proud to have created a real Caribbean experience straight out of our home in central Scotland.’’

The gin brand say the preferred serve for McQueen Coconut & Lime Gin is:

  • 50ml of McQueen Coconut & Lime Gin
  • 100ml of Premium Tonic Water
  • Lime Garnish
  • Big Ice

McQueen Coconut & Lime Gin can be purchased from Sainsbury’s stores throughout Scotland from Wednesday 27th March 2019 for £20 a bottle.
