Well known Scottish brand creates 'lorne and tattie scone toastie' and we can't believe we never thought of it

A popular Scottish food brand has created a video recipe for the ultimate Scottish toastie for UK Sausage Week and we can't wait to try it.

Hall's of Scotland posted the video recipe on their Facebook page and it might be the best hangover cure (or just enjoyable breakfast treat) we've seen in a while.

The Scottish recipe specialists, well known for their breakfast packs, wrote: "The weekend is here, it's #SausageWeek, can things get any better? Celebrate with Scotland's national sausage, the Lorne. This Lorne and Tattie Scone toastie is unreal, perfect for the weekend."

The video had nearly a thousand responses with many calling it a "game changer" and others asking why they'd never thought of it themselves.

One user even put their own twist on it saying: "I would like to try it with two slices of French toast."
