Thousands of £5 meals from Scottish restaurants available to buy this month

20,000 meals for £5 or less will be released this month exclusively on itison to help people beat the January blues and the bite of the five-week month.   

Some of Scotland’s best-loved restaurants are getting involved in itison’s Eat Happy promotion which is back for its second year including Stack and Still, The Blackbird, Civerino’s, El Cartel, Haute Dolci, Sloans and The Sun Inn. 

Here’s what £5 can get you on itison

• £1 – a fluffy double pancake stack at Stack & Still  
• £5 – a 12” pizza at Civerino’s, Hunter Square 
• £5 – Fish and chips served with mushy peas and tartare sauce at The Sun Inn 
• £5 – Tacos or wings at El Cartel Teviot  
• £5 – Haute Dolci waffles loaded with Belgian milk choc dip, stracciatella gelato and choc shavings
