The KFC vegan burger is back - here's when you can buy it

Vegans can, once again, look forward to tucking into the KFC vegan burger as it will be back on the menu at selected stores.

From Monday 24 August, KFC is bringing back its original recipe vegan burger to outlets where it was most popular.

After a brief hiatus, the vegan burger returns as a permanent fixture to the menu in 73 restaurants UK-wide, with more to follow suit in the future.

As before, meat-free fans can expect a bespoke Quorn fillet, coated in the famous original recipe herbs and spices, topped with fresh iceberg lettuce, vegan mayo, served in a soft glazed bun.

A KFC spokesperson said: “Our vegan and flexitarian fans were sadly denied their favourite meat-free treat during lockdown, but now it’s back and it’s time to celebrate.

"Our kitchen teams having been working hard to adapt to the new safety measures in restaurants, but we reckon now is the right time to unleash one of our fan favourites. We can’t wait to reunite with our vegan friends – we’ve missed you.”

Fans of the 80 piece popcorn chicken sharing bucket can also look forward to its return on Monday 24 August.

Where will the KFC vegan burger be available?

The selected 73 KFC restaurants have been chosen in line with where the vegan burger was most popular, but also where it can be served responsibly in line with KFC’S safety procedures.
