St Andrews restaurant The Adamson launches dine at home kits - starting with a Thanksgiving feast

The popular Fife restaurant and bar is kicking off their dine at home kits with a Thanksgiving feast.

St Andrews restaurant, The Adamson, isn't leaving Thanksgiving celebrations to Americans this year, as the team launch a dine at home menu.

This year Thanksgiving, normally one of the biggest holidays in the US, falls on Thursday 26 November and the team at The Adamson have created a three course dinner kit, priced at £25 per person, that can be delivered direct homes across the UK.

The celebratory menu includes: roast pumpkin soup served with herb croutons, chestnuts; roast turkey roulade with duck fat roast potatoes, roast carrots, parsnips, Brussels sprouts, pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy and finally pecan pie served with whipped vanilla cream.

For those looking to toast the occasion, or just to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink, the bartenders at The Adamson have also introduced new cocktail kits for home delivery.

In celebration of Thanksgiving, customers can enjoy a pumpkin spiced daiquiri, which is made with Havana 7 spice rum, pumpkin spiced syrup, orange juice, pineapple juice and lemon.

Priced from £6 per cocktail, it is available to order now from the restaurant's new online shop.

Managing director of the Adamson, Julie Lewis said: "We are thrilled to be launching The Adamson at home.The Adamson restaurant & bar has temporarily closed while we are in Tier 3 for the safety and security of our team.

"We will continue to operate by providing our customers and community with our at home range, delivered to your door for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.

"Our Delicious Food Boxes have been created by Chris Niven, our executive chef and former BBC Masterchef Professionals contestant together with our award winning cocktails are a fabulous treat for you all to enjoy with the ones you love.

"Our celebration boxes for Christmas and New Year will soon be available for you to order, please watch out on our social media channels".

Food and cocktails from The Adamson at home are available now, online and at home delivery days are Tuesdays and Fridays.

For next day delivery, customers must order by 10am the day prior to either of these days. Deliveries are UK wide and free to all St Andrews residents.

Customers outwith the St Andrews catchment will be charged an additional £7.50 per order.

Unfortunately delivery is not available to the following postcodes / areas - BT1 - BT17, BT18-BT94, PO30-P041, The Isle of Man & the Scottish Highlands.
