Scottish cafe launches 'cooncil box' - complete with chicken dippers, smiley faces and mini waffles

A Scottish cafe has revealed a weekly special 'cooncil box', and it features a few childhood favourites.

Tophskis, which is located on the site of a former church on the south side of Glasgow, posted about the new 'cooncil box' creation, which is a weekly special.

Following on from the success for their 'cooncil melt' , the 'cooncil box' consists of chicken dippers, smiley faces, mini waffles, curry sauce, sesame salt and chilli fries, mozzarella sticks and a cheese and turkey dinosaurs wrap.

Posting on their social media, the team said: "I didn’t want it to be this way. But the people have spoken. Our special of the week. The Cooncil box 1.0. Directly from your local scheme."

The box is also available from sister cafe, Lunch Glasgow in Anniesland in the west end of the city, and looks to be popular with people commenting on the post.

One Facebook user said: "the turkey dinosaurs just top it lol" and another added: "this looks the business."

Comedian Gary Faulds joked: "Council box I think I am in love."

Anyone wishing to try it needs to be quick as it's on special.
