Following the success of Lido Troon reopening with a new takeaway menu last month, Buzzworks has reopened its flagship Ayrshire venue, Vic’s & The Vine in Prestwick, with a takeaway offering for the very first time.

What's on the menu?

The new takeaway menu features all the usual favourites from both Vic’s & The Vine – including burgers cooked on the churrasco grill, vegetable, chicken or king prawn tempura, Thai spiced chicken and pizzas.

For dessert, locals can indulge in the Nutella bombalone, sticky toffee pudding or Belgian chocolate fudge cake – all homemade in the Buzzworks Bakehouse which is located on site. Vanilla Joe’s ice-cream and sundaes are also available.

Similarly to the refreshed Lido Troon menu, Buzzworks chef director, Trevor Garden, has curated a debut takeaway offering from Vic’s & The Vine.

Vegetarian, vegan and kids' menus are also available.

Vic’s remains the only Ayrshire venue to serve Tank Tennent’s lager straight from the brewery and now residents can enjoy a freshly poured pint at home thanks to the takeaway menu, which also includes bottled beer, wine and prosecco along with canned soft drinks.

A takeaway cocktail menu is also in the works.

Serving from 4.30pm to 9pm Thursday-Sunday each week, Vic’s & The Vine takeaway is currently available for collection only.

Holli Kerr, manager at Vic’s & The Vine, said: “We were devastated to close our doors in March and although we have not returned to normal just yet, it’s great to be back operating in some way – with the health and safety of our team and customers remaining a top priority.

“We’ve really missed looking after all our regulars and visitors, so we’re delighted to launch a takeaway option in Prestwick so people can enjoy a taste of our Buzzworks favourites at home.”
