Harvey Nichols is offering Edinburgh diners the chance to enjoy unlimited American-style pancakes - with toppings - as well as the chance to help a homeless charity this Shrove Tuesday.

The Forth Floor Brasserie, which has teamed up with StreetSmart, a national charity that raises money for homelessness in the UK to add an optional donation of £1 to every customer’s bill who enjoys the Pancake Day menu.

Running from the 20th to the 25th of February, Harvey Nichols will be serving up all-you-can-eat thick and fluffy American-style pancakes alongside a range of toppings for just £12.50 per person (see website for Ts & Cs).

A spokesperson for the retail firm said: "Guests can pile their pancakes high with honeycomb, mixed fruits, chocolate-coated candied orange slices and roasted pecans.

"The Pancakes Day menu also offers a selection of homemade sauces including melted chocolate, salted caramel, ginger maple custard, lemon curd and Greek yoghurt."

All donations from the menu go directly to StreetSmart who distributes the funds to homeless charities across the nation, to help those in need.
