Edinburgh's Three Sisters to entertain kids with Animal Kingdom Cinema Series this Easter

A popular bar in the Cowgate area of the capital is hoping to entertain the kids during the Easter holidays with the launch of its Animal Kingdom Cinema Series event.

The Three Sisters will be hosting the cinema series this month in its spacious courtyard, with the films - including much loved classics The Jungle Book, Tarzan and Zootropolis - projected on to its huge 225” screen.

Running on the the 15th, 16th and 17th April, Three Sisters say the gates will open to all at 9am with some fun arts and crafts on offer, before the cinema screenings kick off at 11am.

The organisers will also be offering cinema treats and breakfast rolls as part of the free event, which has been organised in partnership with HopScotch Children's Charity.

A spokesperson for the team said: "This charity is one that is close to so many hearts. The event will be completely free entry with no hidden charges to keep it as inclusive as possible but there will be opportunities to show your appreciation to HopScotch Children's Charity and even offer a donation. No matter how big or small every penny really does make a massive difference."
