Earlier this month is was announced that a new, permanent street food market would open in Edinburgh - Edinburgh Street Food.
It opened on 25 February and offers Edinburgh residents and visitors a covered outdoor space filled with street food, art and live music.
You can find it, seven days a week, at Omni Centre, Leith Street, EH13AU.
Edinburgh Street Food is set out over a 900m2 corner of Edinburgh’s Omni Centre with a 250+ seater urban garden.
The ESF line up of traders includes Junk, Bundits, Chix, What Le Duck, Antojitos, The Peruvian, House Of Tapas, Homies, Fabbrica Pasta and SoftCore, with room for further rotating guest traders outside.
There's also three bars available on site.
Over 1/3 of the menu is plant based with 18 vegan mains, 15 vegan sides, umpteen dips and six certified vegan beers on draught.
An allergen book, with full ingredient break down and details of separate prep areas and friers for coeliacs, is available on request.
Meanwhile, the three bars will continue to support local breweries, distilleries and soft drink producers. The opening line up of draught beers featured entirely Scottish ones with 70% hailing from Edinburgh, with shout outs to East Lothian, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dundee.
In addition to ten exceptional traders and three bars, Edinburgh Street Food will have an impressive calendar of 150+ live events per year, promising to deliver on flavour and entertainment every time you pop by.
Edinburgh Street Food is now open 7 days a week, from 11am-11pm on Sundays - Thursdays and 11am-1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
It's pram and dog-friendly, making it an ideal family day out.
