The brand confirmed the rumour after one sharp-minded user discovered a secret menu item from Burger & Lobster on the app, forcing Deliveroo to reveal the existence of their ‘Secret Menu’.

Spanning across multiple exclusive Deliveroo restaurant partners in the UK, the secret menu gives the app users the chance to stumble across something out of the ordinary when ordering from their favourite eateries.

The firm say that the menu is inspired In N Out’s secret Animal Fries, and features  a range of "delicious limited edition menu items" from a host of top UK restaurants.

The first special menu item, dubbed ‘The Golden Claw’ from Burger & Lobster, was discovered by Twitter user Julia Lundin who tweeted her surprise when finding the gold leaf lobster hidden in the Deliveroo menu.

Julia was trying to add some sauce for her order when a pop-up announced she had discovered The Golden Claw from Burger & Lobster’s Canary Wharf site.
