Owner of The Gate Bar, Andy Gemmell, has created a new drinks delivery service which offers bespoke cocktails.

The Create my Cocktail service was devised by Andy and the team at The Gate for those missing having bespoke drinks made for them in bars.

Bartenders at The Gate are used to developing bespoke cocktails creations on the spot for their guests when they visit their bar, and with their new Create my Cocktail Glasgow residents can now enjoy their favourite cocktails from the comfort of their home.

Launching today (Thursday, 14th May) The Gate’s new cocktail service, Create My Cocktail is a cocktail delivery and collection service with one unique difference, they create a cocktail totally bespoke to you based on flavours you love.

The new service, which can be ordered for delivery or collection, was developed after the team at The Gate looked at what their guests miss most about going out to a great cocktail bar.

They found that the conversation between the bartender and that creative process of them finding out what you like and serving up a unique drink came out top.

How it works

Create my Cocktail is recreating that bar experience at home - and the process is fun and easy-to-use.

Simply fill out five questions on their online generator, and the team will be able to work out what style and flavours to use to create your own bespoke cocktail recipe. All drinks can be then delivered locally or collected from the Gate.

For anyone looking for a classic serve, then the team have a selection of favourite and house specials alongside a cocktail party package, which includes a premium battle of spirit, party punch and access to fun virtual tastings to get the party started.

Classic drinks on offer include refreshing daiquiris and pink cosmopolitans, a gin lover’s clover club to smoky whisky penicillin.

All The Gate’s cocktails are created on-site and delivered in reusable cocktail pouches with a cocktail garnish. Plus the drinks come with instructions on how best to enjoy at home - and guests can also access virtual demos on drinks.

Cocktails start from £7, with a minimum of two cocktails required for collection and a minimum of four for free delivery.

Extra measures have been put in place to ensure strict guidelines are in place that adhere to government advice.

Andy Gemmell, the owner of The Gate, said: “We miss our guests so much, and I'm sure they are missing us. With Create My Cocktail, we want to bring some of the hospitality and creativity we offer at The Gate for people to experience at home.

"If you fancy getting a cocktail crafted that’s unique and special to your taste, be sure to try out our cocktail generator this weekend.”
