You can now enjoy a refreshing whisky cocktail on the banks of the River Teith, less than an hour from Glasgow, as Deanston Distillery opens one of Scotland’s most beautifully located summer drinks pop-ups.
Located on the outskirts of the tranquil village of Doune, on the gateway to the Highlands, Deanston is serving up a menu of whisky cocktails every weekend in August.
Visitors can escape the hustle and bustle of Scotland’s biggest cities during the action packed month of August, and relax by the calming river.
The distillery has created an eclectic menu of popular cocktails with a twist, served up by top mixologists - and visitors can get the chance to try their hand at shaking up a creation themselves.
Offering a lovely experience, the summer pop-up will be creating drinks using the distillery’s interesting portfolio of uniquely waxy Highland Single Malt whiskies.
Espresso Martini fans will be intrigued by Deanston’s ‘Cold Brew’ take on the popular classic, showcasing its 12 year old expression, whilst vibrant Hot Honey Margaritas will be created using Deanston 15 year old Tequila Cask Finish. Other drinks which guests can sample include:

“Our mixology team has crafted the most delicious cocktails that beautifully showcase the versatility and flavour profiles of our whiskies, and we’re confident visitors will absolutely love them.
“Each cocktail, made with our award-winning single malts, is specially designed to highlight the unique ways you can enjoy Deanston. Whether you prefer mixing or sipping neat, our whiskies’ distinctive waxy texture adds incredible character to every drink.
