This weekend, from Friday 7th until Sunday the 9th October, the UK’s largest gin event returns to Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange with a festival that promises over 100 different gins, the newest brands and appearances from industry experts.
Jym Harris, who founded Gin Festival with his wife Marie, believes this year’s gathering will be the biggest yet with a larger selection of exclusive gins and more producers than ever before, explained that he is looking forward to returning to Scotland, he said: “We originally started Gin Festival as we absolutely love gin and couldn’t find any events to attend like ours, so we started our own.
"We couldn’t have predicted how quickly the company and demand for events would grow in only a few years. We love that we can bring the joy and diversity of great gin to gin lovers all over the UK.”

Guests will be able to attend four different sessions over the three days, with tickets costing just £8.50 (plus booking fee).
On arrival you will receive your very own Gin Festival glass and a brochure filled with information on all the gins available, including a little about each producer and the suggested garnishes.
Tokens for the gins are priced at £5 per drink - including tonic and a garnish - and promoters say everyone is welcome, from veterans to novices, with friendly staff on hand to recommend a gin or two, or chat about their own favourites.
The event offers the opportunity to purchase a bottle (or two) of your favourite gin from the off-licence, along with a selection of fun gifts and memorabilia. If you’d prefer not to carry bottles around all evening, Gin Festival can also take your order there and then to ship out, free of charge, after the event.
Featuring live entertainment, talks from gin industry experts and masterclasses, you will be able to immerse yourself in all things related to the world of gin.
