Edinburgh's popular SKYbar, located in the penthouse of the Doubletree Hilton on Bread Street, is set to open every Thursday in August, starting this week.

Usually only open on the first Thursday of every month, from 6pm until midnight, the bar will extend its opening frequency to accommodate festival goers that want to take in the spectacular views.

To celebrate this, the lofty venue has teamed up with Scottish cider favourite Thistly Cross for their first collaboration of August.

Guests will be able to warm up for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe by enjoying some food, drinks and, of course, a cold cider or two.

With no reservations or tickets needed, this is a great way to not only start the festival early but also the weekend. Cheers!
