Drinks fans that are missing live events can now buy tickets to Whisky Live at Home and Gin Live at Home - a series of virtual events to enjoy from the comfort of your sofa.
This new virtual whisky tasting experience is from the team behind the world’s largest and longest-running global whisky event brand, Whisky Live.
The virtual experience starts with a delivery of a tasting pack of 30ml whisky samples from famous Scotch whisky distilleries such as Bowmore, Bunnahabhain, The GlenDronach and The Dalmore, alongside international drams from the likes of Teeling Distillery in Ireland, Miyagikyo in Japan, and Michter’s in the USA.
As well as this, every ticket holder will also receive a hamper of gifts including a Glencairn Crystal Studio copita glass, a can of Larkfire water for whisky, Stockan’s oatcakes and copies of Whisky Magazine, American Whiskey Magazine, Gin Magazine, and the 132-page Scotch Whisky annual review.
Tickets still on sale are the wee dram experience and the full dram experience.
Full dram experience ticket holders will receive 29 30ml samples – the equivalent of around one and a quarter full-sized bottles' worth of whisky.
The Whisky Live At Home team will also launch season one of a new web series, Whisky Live TV, with the first episodes live now.
The series includes an episode (each between 30-45 minutes) focusing on every included dram and distillery featured in the Whisky Live At Home tasting packs.
Access to stream the series on demand will be exclusive to ticket holders until 2021.
Hosted by Whisky Magazine editor Christopher Coates, guests include master blenders such as Gregg Glass of The Dalmore, distillery managers such as Sandy McIntyre of Tamdhu, and ambassadors such as Robin Couper of Glen Grant.

If you prefer a G&T to a single malt then the team have also launched Gin Live at Home.
Much like Whisky Live at Home, this virtual experience offers gin fans 11 30ml gin samples from famous brands including Cotswolds, Edinburgh Gin, The Lakes, Mermaid Gin and Metropolitan, alongside distilleries from further afield such as Aiki (Japan) and Brennevins Grova (Norway).
The pack also contains four 30ml whisky samples from Miyagikyo in Japan, Stauning in Denmark, Bowmore in Scotland, and Uncle Nearest in Tennessee, USA — the latter courtesy of partner event Whisky Live At Home.
Every ticket holder will also receive a hamper of gifts including a Glencairn Crystal Studio copita glass, a Glencairn gin goblet, a bottle of Artisan Drinks Co’s Classic London Tonic, and a copy of Gin Magazine.
