Another heatwave is set to hit Scotland this week, and whilst thousands of office workers will be stuck indoors, Tennent’s Lager are offering Edinburgh workers the opportunity to put on the ultimate-out-office this Thursday at the Three Sisters bar in the Cowgate.

Giving businesses the chance to go ‘Al Desko’, the 48-seater beer garden has been made-over into an alternative working space, complete with wifi and plugpoints.

A beer and pub lunch will also be included for those looking to relax on their break.

“It’s been the best summer Scotland’s had in decades,” says Rhona Fyfe, Brand Manager at Tennent’s Lager, “but not for those of us who’ve been trapped indoors working.

"So, we decided it was literally time to bring a little al fresco sunshine to those who’ve missed out.”

“We’ll have everything in place to make sure it’s the best day at work ever, all you need is to bring your own laptop and we’ll take care of the rest – except for getting your boss to agree.

"But happy workers are said to be more productive, so hopefully they’ll see the brighter side too.”

Callum Boyle, Manager at The Three Sisters said: “Even 9-5ers deserve a bit of sunshine and a pint on a weekday afternoon, and we’re thrilled to be partnering up with Tennent’s Lager to provide a working space in our famous beer garden for the first time.”

To take part in Al-Desko, please book in advance here.

Spots for each of the event’s eight desks (four people per desk) are – just like the weather - expected to be in hot demand, and will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
