Edinburgh Food Festival 2023: Dates, times and vendors - as event returns this summer

Join Santa and his reindeer at the Cook School Scotland Christmas.

Kids can join Santa in his grotto - where they will receive a Christmas gift - or sit in his sleigh and have the chance to pet the reindeer.

There are a huge range of craft and gift items as well as fine food stalls. Their dedicated BBQ and licensed bar are operating throughout the weekend as well as a pop up restaurant in The Cook School itself where you can enjoy a main course, mini dessert and mulled wine for £10.

Celebrating all things vegan, Vegfest Scotland will showcase no less than 14 caterers bringing home a wide range of global vegan cuisines, as well as a series of cookery demos and living raw food demos showing you how to get the best out of plant-based ingredients in your everyday dishes.

Shopholics will find plenty of goodies, free samples and special discounts from altogether 140 stalls from some of the leading ethical and vegan traders.

Acclaimed food writer, stylist and photographer Carole Fitzgerald is opening up a taste of her Lazy Sunday feasting with a series of festive pop-up feasts. These One Long Table Meals will be served at traditional long table in a former mill and aim to facilitate sharing and conversation.

The team at Stewart's will be opening the brewery doors to the public and offering snacks, brewery tours and games of pin the red nose on Brudolf. See where the magic happens, shelter from the cold Edinburgh weather and indulge in some quality, local craft beers - arguably just practice for Christmas day. Novelty festive wear is optional but highly encouraged.

From each ticket, £5 is donated to our local food banks because we feel that nobody in our community should go to bed hungry.

The music event brings some great talent from 3pm - 7pm on the last Sunday of each month. With a stripped back and stylish interior, sixdegreesnorth Aberdeen presents an environment for the beers and staff to do the talking. Table service is as standard and with over 350 beers on Tap and Bottle, there's plenty of choice, should you need some advice then feel free to ask the staff!
