Scottish distiller launches new Hibs gin liqueur and it's inspired by the Edinburgh club's away colours

A top Scottish distiller has launched a new limited edition Hibs gin liqueur - and it comes in the club's away colours.

Created in collaboration with the Leith-based club and Hibernian Community Foundation, Eden Mill said the Forest Fruits Hibs Gin Liqueur is based with their award-winning Original Gin and features a vibrant purple colour - inspired by the team's away strip.

Described as bursting with "juicy forest fruits" and having a "jam-like sweetness" to finish, the small-batch gin liqueur will have a limited run of just 1,000 bottles which will be priced at £22 per bottle and are available from the gin firm's website.

A percentage of the proceeds will go the club's own charity.

A spokesperson for the gin distillery said: "The tradition green Hibs crest takes pride of place on our bespoke Eden Mill glass bottle. We will be donating a percentage of our proceeds to the Hibs Community Foundation, the charitable arm of Hibernian Football Club using the power of sport to improve people's lives."

The team at Eden Mill said that the new gin liqueur is best served with a premium lemonade and garnished with a twist of lime.
