Red Bus Bistro introduces Sex and the City style cocktail tours in Glasgow this autumn

A little slice of the hugely popular television show Sex and the City is heading to Glasgow this autumn with the launch of a brand new bus tour.

Emulate Carrie Bradshaw and the girls by grabbing your friends and jumping aboard the stylish double-decker London bus every Friday and Saturday evening, with the tour taking in "all of the sights that the city has to offer", including The Cathedral, Tennents Brewery and the Riverside Museum.

The Red Bus Bistro team say you will be greeted at your table with a glass of bubbly to kick off the night, before guests are then able to tuck into the  "Stateside inspired menu" featuring Angus beef and pulled pork sliders served with seasoned fries and pickles.

The event will also offer cocktails - Cosmopolitans à la Carrie the order of the day - with two included in the package and additional drinks available to purchase from their fully licensed bar.

The brainchild of former air hostess Alison Simpson, the idea for the Red Bus Bistro sprung from her travels to the Caribbean where she came across an old Routemaster bus which had been turned into a static restaurant. The company now offers a collection of gourmet experiences including an Afternoon Tea Experience, Gin Tea Experience, Gourmet Burger Experience and a decadent Valentine tour.

Sexy and In the City Tours will be launching at the end of October with tours departing at 6pm every Friday and Saturday. This experience will last 90 minutes and costs £49.50 per person.
