Tweeting a picture of a bottle of Misty Isle Gin which is made on the island, the First Minister wrote: "We disagree on lots but in the spirit of the season, I took the PM a Christmas present today - a bottle of @IsleSkyeDistil gin from @IanBlackfordMP’s beautiful constituency. Maybe she should give @NSoames a taste!"

Ian Blackford was in a debate on the EU Withdrawal Agreement when the comment was made as he stood up to speak. Following some commotion, many pointed the blame at veteran Conservative member Sir Nicholas Soames.
Though angered at the time, Ms Sturgeon has clearly seen the funny side and decided to have a little fun at the Tory MP's expense.
Twitter users were quick to appreciate the tweet with one describing it as "next level trolling".
Another added: "I think he'd only take it with a Bitter lemon."
User @CGileabart described the present as a great gesture before adding: "Shaken not stirred."
Isle of Skye Distillers founder Alistair Wilson, who produce Misty Isle Gin, said: "The First Minister obviously has great taste.
"Maybe the PM can share it with some of her backbenchers and get them in the festive spirit."
