Offering a summer-themed beer range, two of the Lidl craft beer festival beers are inspired by peach and made by Scottish brewers.
First up is Sunkissed Peach (4.6% ABV) by Edinburgh’s Stewart Brewing which combines ripe peach with tangy raspberry - drinking in a hammock, optional.
Meanwhile, Loch Lomond’s Zoom Time (4.5% ABV) New England IPA serves up a peachy sensation on the nose alongside a dose of punchy pineapple on the palette.
There's also other fruity beers such as 71 Brewing’s, Fruit Phaser (7.5% ABV), while citrus fans should also check out the brewer’s Wee Zesty (4% ABV) - a lemon verbena sour.
Cold Town Brewery’s Queen of Puddings (5.3% ABV) which takes inspiration from raspberry jam and vanilla custard to create a jammy ale.
Other beers include St Andrews Brewing’s Yippie IPA (6% ABV) which offers up a fresh and fruity papaya flavour.
More brewers continuing the fruit theme include Williams Bros from Alloa with their bold citrus orange and fresh spruce Sapien (7.5% ABV) and the tropical notes of Apex (4.1% ABV) by Hybrid Brewing in Grangemouth.
Lovers of a traditional beer can enjoy Drygate Brewing’s Seven Peaks (3.9% ABV) and West Brewery’s West Black (4.6% ABV); the latter standing out from the crowd with hints of coffee and dark chocolate.
