Lidl is celebrating its popular Hortus Gin collection with a dedicated festival, featuring a selection of ten gins, gin liqueurs and ready to drink options.
The line-up includes a range of exciting World Botanicals, which use authentic botanicals from Japan, America and the Mediterranean to create additions to the award-winning range.
There's the new Hortus World Botanicals– Japanese Cherry Blossom Gin (40.3% ABV), which has delicate hints of sancho peppers and cherry blossom - locally sourced in Japan.
These botanicals create a bright, citrus-led gin with a rich, floral character.
Retailing at £17.99, this spirit is best served with a classic tonic and ginger slice, for a refreshing drink.
The Hortus World Botanicals – American Orange Gin (40.7% ABV) - is juniper-led with zesty notes and a mildly spicy, floral finish, combining coriander, angelica, lemon, and fresh grapefruit, with local Florida orange botanicals.
The Hortus World Botanicals - Mediterranean Citrus Gin (40.2% ABV) - has a punchy, citrus kick and herbal finish, with lemon and grapefruit botanicals directly from the Mediterranean.
Pair this one with a fragrant Mediterranean tonic, blood orange slice, and rosemary sprig.
For the first time, Lidl is introducing gin-tin multipacks, ideal for groups on the go or to keep stocked in the fridge.
These 10 x 250ml packs are available in three flavours: the aromatic Hortus Rhubarb & Ginger Gin & Tonic (5% ABV), the summery Hortus Premium Orange & Gin & Diet Lemonade (5% ABV) and the sweet Hortus Premium Pink Gin & Tonic (6% ABV).
Shoppers can pick up their ten-pack of choice for £9.99 - less than £1 per can.
Lidl’s Hortus Gin Festival begins on Thursday 15 July and will be available while stocks last.
