Following on from their successful Scottish Gin Festival, Lidl have announced the launch of a new gin liqueur.

Available now, the Raspberry and Blackberry gin liqueur is the latest addition to the Lidl unicorn Aquine range and is priced at £12.99.

The liqueur can be added to prosecco for a fruity twist or simply topped with tonic and garnished with raspberries - and it's ideal for a summer BBQ or sunny days.

The raspberry and blackberry flavour is a nod to Scotland’s famous sweet summer berries that are in full season just now and the team says these 'perfectly balance the botanicals of the handcrafted dry gin to create a velvety smooth liqueur.'

Inspired by Scotland’s national animal, the mystical unicorn, Lidl’s award-winning Aquine gin is a celebration of the nation’s distilling credentials created in partnership with The Glasgow Distillery.

Launched in 2018 Aquine gin is described as full-bodied with a fruity finish. The gin is made with Scottish water and botanicals such as juniper, angelica root and rosehip, and has proved popular with consumers thanks to its taste and budget-friendly price tag.

In 2019 it won gold in the Premium Gin (£16 - £20) category at the Gin Masters.

The Aquine Raspberry & Blackberry Gin Liqueur is now available in stores across Scotland priced at £12.99.
