As The Ivy Collection prepare to open the doors of their first Scottish restaurant, The Ivy on the Square in Edinburgh, we take a look inside and find out what diners can expect from the iconic brand.
Set to open on the 20th September, guests were invited along for a first look last week (14th September), where the Champagne flowed, canapés were enjoyed and Edith Bowman took to the decks.
As we reported back in June, bespoke artwork was to be created by Adam Ellis and inspired by the surroundings and location.
The result is a mix of bold colours and abstract prints that complement the restaurant’s Arancia Onyx bar, which has pendant lighting, antique bronze mirrors, marble floor tiles and a mixture of burnt orange leather banquettes and bar stools.
As you can imagine from The Ivy Collection, the result is a stylish yet laid-back atmosphere for all-day dining in Edinburgh.

The sleek bar is home to an impressive selection of drinks including the Ivy Collection's own branded Champagne.

There's also a great range of Scottish gins and whiskies, which were picked by specialist Blair Bowman and make up an exclusive whisky trolley - the first of its kind in the Capital.
As General Manager Eric told us in August, The Ivy on the Square would also house the brand's popular magnums of wine, which are kept cool in huge buckets.
Upstairs the marble floor tiles and burnt orange leather banquettes further complement more quirky artwork from Adam Ellis.
The whole restaurant boasts floor to ceiling windows, which allow natural light to spill in and give a wonderful sense of space.
The Ivy on the Square has also teamed up with Hermione Gibbs, Hancock and Fidir clothing and accessories to create limited edition his and hers jackets, from Hancock and this stylish weekend bag, courtesy of Fidir.
