To mark the launch of the brand's new, limited edition Midsummer Solstice gin Hendrick's transformed a humble phone box into a "floral fancy".
The 'floral phone box disruption', which is one of five in the UK, was located on Castle Street in Edinburgh at the end of last month and heralded the first variant from the Cabinet of Curiosities at the Hendrick’s Gin Palace.
A spokesperson for Hendrick's said: "Covered by flowers, the sensorial phone box portal rewarded the curious who raise their gaze – transporting present and inquisitive minds to simpler, less-connected times - away from their hundreds and thousands of ‘pocket connections’."
Inspired by Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice Gin, which was first created by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie as a wedding gift to celebrate such a true, meaningful connection and union.
The distinctive botanical bouquet of Hendrick’s Gin has been complemented with a secret selection of additional floral essences inspired by Midsummer Solstice blooms.
The result is an enchantingly floral gin that blossoms on the palate in a rare union of lightness and complexity.
• For those curious to try, Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice Gin is now available at Waitrose (RRP £35) and all good retailers and bars throughout the summer.
