Edinburgh Gin launches personalised service for its Valentine's gin

Edinburgh Gin has launched a personalisation service on its limited-edition Valentine’s Gin.

Edinburgh Gin has launched a bespoke service that will allow shoppers to swap out the iconic EG letters on its Valentine’s Gin label for the initials of a loved one, a long-distance friend or a Galentine.

The distiller's Valentine’s Gin is a light and aromatic - mixes well with tonic, soda or rose lemonade and makes for a fragrant base in a gin cocktail.

David Wilkinson, Edinburgh Gin's Head Distiller at Ian Macleod Distillers, said: “Valentine’s Gin has been designed to capture the romance of Valentine’s Day in a bottle.

"Made using fresh rose petals, bright red hibiscus and sweet, herbal elderflower. This limited-edition gin is our annual celebration of the season of love.”

Edinburgh Gin Valentine’s Gin gets subtle floral flavours from rose petals and hibiscus flowers, while chamomile, lemongrass and Kaffir lime leaf give a citrus freshness.

Pink peppercorns add a perfumed spice while bee pollen brings a sweetness.

Priced at £36 (70cl/43% ABV), the must-have gin will be on sale via the Edinburgh Gin website from 29 January.

To get a bespoke bottle delivered in time for Valentine’s Day, orders must be placed by Tuesday 9 February.
