If you want to enjoy an afternoon of spirit tasting alongside your four legged friend, then the Glasgow's Good Spirit Company has just the dog-friendly event for you.

Launching on Sunday 18th March, from 2-4pm, the Good Spirit Company will host a spirit tasting with a difference.

The Hair of the Dog event was announced on the spirit merchant's Twitter page: "Although dogs are always welcome in our shops, this will be the first time that we've ever invited them along to an event.

"We're putting on a relaxed afternoon tasting featuring six spirits chosen from the vast range on our shelves at 23 Bath Street.

"No spirits for the dogs, alas, but there will be complimentary dog biscuits and water."

To allow room for doggy friends, the number of human guests will be limited to 18 and the Good Spirit Company ask that all dogs would be happy to spend two hours in the tasting room in mixed company.

Any purchases of the spirits tried on the night will, as always, be discounted by 10 per cent.
