New Edinburgh bar serving up pizza and craft beer opens near Haymarket

A new beer bar specialising in Scottish craft beers and wood-fired pizzas is opening in Edinburgh close to Haymarket.

Created by the minds behind the Keith, Alechemy and Spey Valley breweries, Froth & Flame, which has opened on Morrison Street, will offer 15 taps showcasing a range of exciting craft styles and flavours.

Seven of these taps will be on guest rotation allowing beer fans in the capital the opportunity to enjoy over 250 different beers a year.

The F & F team say that there will also be a wide selection of cocktails, spirits and
an extensive wine list for those looking for something other than beer.

The newly renovated venue features an interior with raised wooden perches, tartan seat booths, a takeaway beer fridge and a vibrant outdoor area.

At the centre of the site is an open kitchen where the traditional pizzas are created on the handcrafted, wood-fired Valoriani pizza oven; operated by award-winning pizza chef Paulo Santos.

As well as pizza, the menu includes pastas, salads and sharing platters alongside a range of desserts.

There will also be a range of deals on offer including a 7-day “Froth & Friends” drinks offer; £5 Margharita Mondays, Sunday Brunch Club and £5 lunch dishes.
