In case you hadn't noticed, we are pretty much in the throes of winter and with the freezing weather and long cold nights you are going to want some fun beers to drink and enjoy.
Niall, who runs the Wee Beer Shop in Glasgow's southside, has picked five great Scottish beers that will definitely warm the cockles this winter - metaphorically of course.
Niall said: "Chew Chew by Fallen is a Scottish beer classic. Unlike your usual stout, its a milk stout with a bit of sweetness from salted caramel so it's ideal for warming you up on a cold day.
"Perfect for your post Christmas dinner drink."
Niall said: "Fyne Ales have been producing traditional and modern beer styles for many years and they have excelled themselves in the last month with their new Origins range which showcases the tastes of their local area.
"Kilkerran Wee Heavy is a decadent, warming traditional Scottish ale matured is malt whisky casks from the Glengyle distillery. It has rich caramel, sweet chestnut, vanilla and lingering peat-smoke flavours."
Niall said: "Glasgow's Up Front Brewing make a vegan friendly stout with roasted nuts, chocolate and coffee notes.
"Not sour like many British stouts, it leaves a liquoricey taste on the palate."
Niall said: "The sweet brown ale has been a classic winter beer style for years and it's been brought up to date by Edinburgh Beer Factory in their new Bunk range.
"Juicy hops create a delicious malty beer with a silky taste. Drink Edinburgh Brown at room temperature or chilled."
Niall said: "Mexicake is another rich dark beer that we love at this time of year. Packed full of cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa and chillies, this stout has a lovely gentle heat."
"If you are lucky you might find some of the limited quantities of this beer that was matured in whisky, bourbon or brandy barrels that give it an extra dimension. Tempest excelled themselves with this superb beer."
