What is North Hop?
North Hop is the Highlands and Islands largest indoor craft beer festival, offering up some of the finest Scottish produce, including over 60 craft beers and ciders, creative cocktails, artisan gins and street food from all over Scotland.
Festivalgoers will also get the chance to embrace 24 live Scottish music acts taking to the stage over the three festival sessions within the beer hall and the cocktail lounge.
Where will North Hop be held?
For a second year in a row, North Hop is taking place at the stunning Eden Court in Inverness, a popular venue for theatre and arts, with beautiful views of the River Ness.
North Hop completely transforms the fantastic space the venue has to offer into a rustic beer hall and a cosmopolitan cocktail lounge and terrace, taking festivalgoers on a high-quality food and drink adventure.
When?
Friday 21 – Saturday 22 of August 2015, with three different festival sessions taking place across the weekend.
· Friday 21 – 6pm until midnight
· Saturday 22 – 12 noon until 6pm
· Saturday 22 – 7pm until until 1am on Sunday 23 August 2015

Walking
Eden Court is less than a 10-minute walk form the centre of Inverness, where the bus station and railway station can both be found. There is also a cash machine less than a five-minute walk away from Eden Court. The venue is located on Bishops Road, Inverness, IV3 5SA.
Tickets:
Tickets for the three sessions are on sale now at: https://www.eden-court.co.uk/whats-on/shows/north-hop and a weekend pass can also be purchased for those looking to make a weekend of the festival. Ticket prices are £15 per session and £40 for the weekend pass. This event is strictly for 18’s and over.
Festival tickets will also be available on the door, however once the tickets are gone, they’re gone!
What’s included in my ticket price?
Included in all ticket prices is a complimentary North Hop branded beer glass, a taster of the festival brew, and a complimentary programme to keep track of all that’s going on at the festival.
What Scottish food and drink can you get your hands on?
A lot. There’s a number of food and drink producers coming from all over Scotland to take part in the popular festival. From craft breweries, to artisan gin distilleries, to cocktail bars and street food vendors, North Hop’s offering has more than doubled since last year.
Craft beer: Exhibitors include craft beer giants BrewDog, Thistly Cross Cider, Loch Ness Brewery, Drygate Brewing Company, Six Degrees North, Windswept Brewing Company, Cromarty Brewing Company, Eden Mill, Fyne Ales, WooHa Brewing Company, Barney’s Beer and as a special element to the festival this year, the guest brewery will be 1,000 year old German brewery, Weihenstephan.
Gins and cocktail exhibitors: Aberdeen drinks company, 10 Dollar Shake, will be serving up over 15 different Scottish and International gins as well as a number of cocktails at the festival. Berry Good will showcase their berry infused spirits as well as host a prosecco bar, and Scotland’s first ever Limoncello. Also on offer at the festival is Scotland’s second most popular gin of 2015, Rock Rose Gin, making it’s debut appearance at this year’s festival.
Street food:
As well as delicious drinks, here’s some food for thought…
Savoury:
Inverness restaurant, Loch Ness Inn, will be serving up one dish wonder’s of crispy chilli beef pots, washed down with some spiced Sailor Jerry rum. Aye Love Real Food will boast some of the finest scotch eggs and sausage rolls in Scotland, as well as a selection of curries and condiments, and Edinburgh’s Fresh Revolution will have a number of locally sourced, fresh, seasonal dishes, giant paella from one of Scotland’s oldest tapas bars, La Tortilla Asesina. Aberdeen’s Adelphi Kitchen will be teaming up with Scotland’s up-and-coming hot sauce company Angus and Oink, providing festivalgoers with some tasty dirty cooking.
Sweet:
Gourment popcorn company Poporopo will be supplying festivalgoers with something sweet alongside chocolatier Stacey Hannah Chocolates, bakers and delicious cake makers, Bad Girl Bakery and coffee fanatics Ovenbird Coffee.
Extras: Tipple Box ‘cocktails to your door’, photo booth company, Betty Booth, a North Hop selfie station, Tattoo artists, Rebel, who have created the Festival Brew artwork, as well as festival art by a team of creative artists.

There is an abundance of food and drink available for everyone to enjoy, however, this event is strictly for 18’s and over so please bring a formal proof of age and identification with you.
