Eagle-eyed beer lovers who identify team members in any of eight participating pubs across the four cities will instantly win one of a range of prizes including rounds of drinks, wireless headphones, tablets, and more.

The Glasgow brewer is dishing out the prizes to celebrate its brand new pint glasses which have also been launched in bars across Scotland.

#TennentsTeam members will be tricky to spot, though they will be sporting an item of clothing from the brand’s online store and drinking from one of the new Tennnent’s Lager pint glasses, which should help.

Destination cities and pubs will also be announced on social media but no further clues will be provided. To win a prize, people should simply approach them in a participating pub and ask if they are in the #TennentsTeam.

First stop on the tour is Dundee on 14 May. Participating Dundee pubs are: Clarks on Lindsey Street and The Fort Hotel. On 21 May the tour will reach Edinburgh stopping at The Voodoo Rooms and Canons Gait.

The #TennentsTeam will then be ‘Doing the Rounds’ in Aberdeen on 4 June before its final stop in Glasgow on 11 June, visiting The Admiral Bar, Wintersgills and Deoch an Dorus.

A Tennent’s Lager spokesperson said: “The best way to understand how great our new glasses are is to get down to your local pub and have a pint so we thought up this challenge to encourage folk to do just that.

"Our #TennentsTeam members won’t be the easiest to spot, but if you do see them it’ll be worth speaking to them - we guarantee it!

“They’ll be drinking a pint of Scotland’s favourite and wearing something from out online shop so keep your eyes peeled and make sure you bring a few pals to increase your chances. Keep an eye on our social media channels for clues about which pubs they’ll be in.”

The new pint glass is 20mm taller with a nucleated glass base designed to ensure the perfect pour every time and a fantastic looking pint. The iconic red T logo is outlined in gold on the front of the glass, with the brand name and the legendary Hugh Tennent signature embossed below. On the back of the glass, the message “Brewed with Passion in Scotland Since 1885” completes the design.
