Martin Docherty-Hughes MP welcomed Loch Lomond Brewery to the House of Commons this week to showcase the local family firm's popular craft beer in parliament

The MP for West Dunbartonshire invited the Alexandria-based brewers to parliament after securing a guest spot for its multi-award winning ‘Southern Summit’ pale ale in the Strangers’ Bar.
Loch Lomond Brewery’s co-owner Euan MacEachern and sales manager George Wotherspoon were given a tour of the House of Commons, and presented with a certificate on behalf of the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group in recognition of the quality of the firm’s craft beer.

Loch Lomond Brewery was founded by husband and wife team Euan and Fioan MacEachern in 2011. The family firm has won multiple awards for its locally produced beers, including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016.

Martin Docherty-Hughes MP said: “West Dunbartonshire is home to many fantastic food and drink producers which I seek to promote at every opportunity.
