It’s no surprise that the Scottish sweet treat adored at home and all over the world is considered a perfect Christmas present, and Donnie’s Tablet Shed on the Isle of Skye has captured a slice of the market with his homemade tablet.

As owner and tablet maker of Loch Leven Tablet Company, Donnie Montgomery already boasts a considerable variety of Highland favours; with tablet handmade and available to order online for a range of different occasions such as weddings, parties and corporate events.

Now, the decision to open a special Christmas Tablet Shop online has seen even further success for Loch Leven Tablet Company, with Donnie’s homemade tablet treats now available to order in time for Christmas.

Included in the new range available online are adorable festive gift boxes containing some 200g of homemade tablet in snowman or tartan-themed packaging for £8.99, alongside smaller offerings of Donnie’s tablet for which he won a Gold Star at the Great Taste Awards 2020. Varieties available include White Chocolate and Cardamom, Stem Ginger and even alcohol-infused options, with tablet made with Drambuie liqueur and Talisker whisky also on offer.

Larger gift options are also available to order from the Christmas shop, featuring an assortment of handmade and locally produced goods from Skye such as mugs, candles and chocolate.
