The event, organised and hosted by Whisky Business, is a one-of-a-kind tasting event featuring a blacked-out room and live music from one of Edinburgh’s rising music acts, acoustic duo The Jellyman’s Daughter.
In pitch-black darkness, guests will be able to enjoy both the music and the whisky as the brain compensates for loss of sight by enhancing the other senses. Five different whiskies will be served to those attending.
During the tasting, Whisky Business’s founder and Forbes.com whisky blogger, Felipe Schrieberg, will offer an entertainingly educational 'dramming session’designed to appeal to both whisky beginners and experts alike.
Felipe said: "We are creating a multi-sensory whisky experience that is truly unique and entertaining.
"I’m especially excited to that Graham and Emily from The Jellyman’s Daughter will be joining us, as their
music will be a perfect fit for the tasting."
The tasting will be held on April 15th and 16th, with doors opening at 19:45. Places are limited though, as only 13 tickets will be available per night.
