The Wanderers Kneaded competition, which went live on 5 January, will see followers use their IGTV recipe for making an authentic pizza at home, and share their results online.
Founder of Wanderers Kneaded, Francesco Bani, who is originally from a small town near Bergamo in Italy, launched the business in 2018 after becoming disillusioned working for bigger companies in the city.
“Originally the idea was born from wanting to serve food in the most honest way possible,” Francesco explained.
“We wanted to cook just what we believe in, no excuses, and served to the community that we love.”
Wanderers Kneaded – a pizzeria on wheels serving sourdough pizzas cooked in a woodfired oven – was the result.
The business went on to be crowned champions at the 2019 Scottish Street Food Awards at the Pitt in Edinburgh.
After having to shut during the first lockdown in March 2020, the team opened a drive-thru pizzeria in May 2020.
At this time, they also posted an IGTV video, showing followers how to make pizza at home.
Now, Wanderers Kneaded are reviving the video as part of a competition, and asking fans to share their pizza creations to be in with a chance to win a week's worth of free pizza for two - and some newly launched merchandise.
Posting on their Instagram, the team said: "With the news of our country once again descending into lockdown, we've decided to dust off our home pizza recipe launched for the quarantine of early 2020 and run a brand new competition.
"This time the winner, tbc at the end of the scheduled lockdown, will win a whole week of free pizza for two people, to be redeemed at either of our pitches.
"In addition to the 'week of free pizza' prize, we will also gift four pieces of your choosing from our newly launched merch collection that you can find on our Instagram shop."
To enter, just post your pizza creations on Instagram and tag Wanderers Kneaded.
