The Dramathon, which takes place on the 21st of October, is a marathon distance trail running race along the beautiful Speyside Way from Glenfarclas distillery to Glenfiddich distillery.
The course takes in several distilleries along the way, with a chance to get stamped at each participating distilleries meaning you can pick up the corresponding miniatures at the end of the race.
You have the choice of a full marathon distance (Glenfarclas to Glenfiddich), a half-marathon (Tamdhu to Glenfiddich), a 10K (Aberlour to Glenfiddich) or a relay race (team of 4 divides up the marathon route).
Organisers say the course is reasonably flat, and largely follows the old railway line of the Speyside Way, meaning it's ideal for all skill levels.
Posting on the website, the team behind the event said: "The Spey Valley will be in full spectacular Autumnal bloom on race weekend – come and experience one of the most beautiful and interesting corners of Scotland.
"The Dramathon is beautifully structured and well-paced with a great finish. Just like a Speyside malt in fact."
Jon Dunderdale, who along with fellow running and whisky enthusiast Ian King came up with the idea for the marathon over a dram or two, said: "The Dramathon is a celebration of running & Speyside single malt, inspired by the iconic Marathon du Médoc.
"Ian and myself are both single malt enthusiasts and runners who wanted to combine these two passions and love Speyside. The route follows the Speyside Way and offers runners some incredible contrasts in terms of scenery - from the wilds of Ben Rinnes to the manicured lawns of Ballindalloch."
Tickets start at just £25 for the 10k, £30 for the half marathon and £50 for the full marathon. Those looking to take part in the relay, teams of four can enter for £100.
The entry fee includes a custom event t-shirt, finisher's medal and of course samples from the distilleries themselves.
The whisky is also optional, so those looking for an enjoyable and challenging run without the drink can still take part.
