Strawberry and Chilli chutney
Heat 50 ml vegetable oil in a pan
Add 1 medium size fine chop red onion and cook till golden brown
Add 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
Add 1 kg roughly chopped strawberry cook for 20 minutes
Add a pinch of salt, 4/5 finely chopped green chilli 25gm sugar and 1 teaspoon black pepper.
Cook for another 5 minutes. Either serve straight away or decant into washed jars and store for up to a month.
