The idea has already proved a big hit south of the border with thousands flocking to the Black Milk Cereal Dive in Manchester.
Now the owners have set their sights on Edinburgh and Glasgow as they plan to extend their cereal empire.
Customers will pay up to £4.20 per bowl - but it is no ordinary breakfast experience.

For that they can pick four different types of cereal, two toppings and choose from 35 flavours of milk.
The brands include conventional cereals such as Shredded Wheat, Cornflakes and Crunchy Nut as well as more unusual options like Apple Jacks, Captain Crunchs Peanut Butter Crunch and Hershey's Cookies n Creme.
As well as a traditional bowl and spoon customers can also choose to eat their breakfast out of edible crockery made out of chocolate.
Seasonal specialities include the Easter freak consisting of two types of cereal topped with brownies, Creme Eggs, marshmallows and mini eggs served in half an Easter egg.

Cafe co-founder, Oliver Lloyd-Taylor, 28, said: "We first opened in Manchester because that is where we were based.
"It has been going really well here and we have been getting busier and busier over the half term, but we don't want Scotland to miss out on the fun.
"People get so excited when they come here and taking the excitement and fun that people are having in our cafe in Manchester and bringing it to Scotland is the next part of our plan.
"There's a few places that we have been looking at, but we have had a lot more support from people in Glasgow so that is where we would like to go first."
Speaking about the thinking behind their cereal cafe, Mr Lloyd-Taylor said: "Our original plan was to have a milk and juice bar, but cereal kept popping up during our brainstorm sessions.
"Our collection started with the American brands, Lucky Charms and Froot Loops etc, and they were our biggest sellers.
"Now we get a lot more European cereal because its quite wacky and crazy and there are lots of different variants.

"We try and cater for everyone and its all about letting the customer have the creative freedom to do what they want to do, to do all the things you cant do at home.
"If everything goes to plan the Glasgow branch of the Black Milk Cereal Dive will be open in time for Christmas."
The first cereal cafe in the UK was opened in Shoreditch in December 2014 by twin brothers Gary and Alan Keery.
Now there are around half a dozen cereal cafes in the UK with the craze looking set to continue growing.
