Here is how you can enjoy a gin or two while cruising on Loch Ness

What could be more fun than sipping gin while cruising on Loch Ness, soaking in the scenery?

Local gin producers Loch Ness Gin have announced the return of their popular gin cruises following on from the success of similar events in 2017.

Posting on their facebook the team wrote: "We have had huge demand to bring more gin distilleries to Loch Ness.

"Join us for a 2 hour cruise aboard the Jacobite Rebel and enjoy delicious Gin & Tonics, served by the companies themselves, whilst drinking in the spectacular scenery."

Running on Friday 18th May and Friday 22nd June, the cruises depart and return from Dochgarroch Lock, embarking at 6.45pm for 7pm and returning at 9pm.

According to the team you will meet some distillers, try the gins and learn more about them and there will also be "canapes and iconic views along the way."
