Amazon Prime Day runs from 21-22 June,and offers some great bargains on everything from homewares to gadgets and whisky.

Ideal for those who'd like to try a new dram, or are keen to get into whisky without breaking the bank, here are our top whisky buys from this year's Amazon Prime.

The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This Speyside single malt is sweet and well balanced and, as it comes with a gift box, would make an ideal treat for a loved one.

Matured in first-fill American oak casks, it's sweet and fruity - and a bargain at £19.99. Usually priced at £36.59.

Johnnie Walker Double Black Label Blended Scotch Whisky

The Double Black blend is a more intense, smokier version of the iconic Johnnie Walker - and ideal for those looking to try a new variation on the old favourite.

Tasting notes include fruity, smoky, spicy with lighter notes of vanilla, clove and cream.

Talisker 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This single malt from Skye comes with a gift box, making it an ideal present for the whisky lover in your life.

Aberlour Casg Annamh Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Meaning rare cask in Gaelic, this Speyside whisky is a rich dram full of spice, dark fruits and liquorice notes.

It has been influenced by the sherry maturation and is now £39.99, down from £55.

Jura 12 year old

This classic 12 year old from Jura has a nose of tropical fruits and chocolate, with tasting notes of honey, bananas, brown sugar and a whisper of smoke.

It has been matured in white American ex-bourbon barrels and finished in Oloroso sherry casks, plus it won silver in the IWSC.

Bursting with scents and flavours of fresh, crisp green apple, you'll also get hints of nuttiness and toffee.
