The Juniper Festival

Time: Friday 9th - 5pm to 10pm, Saturday 10th - 11.30am - 4.00pm and 5.00pm - 9.30pm

The Juniper Festivals have become a mainstay in any Gin lover’s calendar, and this year the festival returned to Summerhall in Edinburgh (2nd-4th June) and will be popping up in SWG3 in Glasgow this weekend, all culminating to World Gin Day on the 10th of June.

The Festivals not only showcase a vast range of gins, guests are also able to meet the people behind the brands and enjoy tasters from each, as well as listen to expert talks.

If you get peckish there will be a range of street food available and if you find your favourite gin, purchases can be made from the bottle shop.

Gin Fest

The Gin Fest will be showcasing Scottish Gins (old and new), in the form of perfect serves and cocktails.
Guests will receive a Gin Fest balloon glass, the festival brochure (which tells you more about each gin and their perfect serves, along with some recipes) and a voucher for a free drink at the Gin and Fizz bar.

Gin lovers can sample the brands before buying bottles to take home, as well as finding out more (and trying) the perfect serves related to each gin.

The day will be split into three session, and there will be live music and talks from industry experts throughout each.

If you fancy celebrating World Gin Day by sampling some of The Vine's 130 gins from around the world then pick up a free ticket for this one-day event from Eventbright.

Earth Day 2024: Scottish businesses offering sustainable spirits and drinks

Try an old favourite or discover something new, and if the gins give you an appetite for more then G&T's will be available on-site for £4 each.

Arbroath residents that love all things juniper will enjoy Smithies Deli's World Gin Day event on Saturday.

Showcasing their impressive collection of over 180 gins that are on sale in the deli, guests can look forward to samples, G&T's, a new Scottish Gin menu and some delicious gin-inspired bakes.

If you're a fan of Tanqueray gin then head over to the Angel's Share Hotel in Edinburgh this weekend. To celebrate World Gin Day the bar is offering three ultimate Tanqueray gins - Tanqueray Export Strength,
Tanqueray Rangpur and Tanqueray 10 - from £7 each.

Served as you like, these gins are available alongside the range of Scottish whiskies, gins and beers available within the city centre bar.

Ardnamurchan

Newly opened, Ardnamurchan prides itself on serving Scotland's best produce from the land and shore.

And this reflects in the restaurant's bar, which is home to Scottish whiskies, beers and of course, gin. Ardnamurchan will be celebrating gin in all of its forms this weekend, including cocktails, perfect serves and straight up.
