It's become a festive institution over the years and now John Lewis may have just given eager fans a sneak peak of their much anticipated 2017 Christmas advert.

The four second long, animated clip, which was previewed exclusively on the @Underthebed2017 twitter page, features a peeping creature with the hashtag #UnderTheBed.

John Lewis still haven't confirmed that the creature under the bed is related to this year's Christmas campaign and there are no clues as to what the creature might be.

But rumours continue to circulate in the build up to the launch and there have been some reports that the cult Christmas advert will feature music by the late George Michael.
