To find out, trade-in company musicMagpie have compiled a list of the most popular Christmas presents of each year from 1970 to 2018 - from Rubik’s Cubes to Super Nintendos, and from Furbies to Fortnite. Their research also found that today's parents are spending five times as much on their children at Christmas as parents were in 1970.
