Due to the huge demand for tickets and two sold out festivals in previous years, the festival has been extended to two days over the weekend of the 6th and 7th May at The Briggait.

The two day event will celebrate the growing specialty coffee culture in Scotland, showcasing the passion for quality coffee in the Scottish community.

Featuring coffee exhibitors, cafes, roasters, masterclasses, workshops, presentations and demonstrations, the festival will also play host to the UK Barista Championship heat and the UK Brewers Cup final, sanctioned by the SCA_UK.

The organisers say they hope they will be able to educate, serve, entertain, and inspire coffee consumers from around the country and visitors are invited to meet coffee professionals, taste their way around the carefully chosen gathering of roasters baristas, artists, brewers and bars.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy the national coffee competitions, learn latte art, enjoy a ‘cupping’ experience, upgrade their home brewing kit, and enjoy a range of art, film and photographs dedicated to Scotland's enduring love for coffee.

Workshops and presentations will all be free to attend and day and weekend tickets are now on sale at glasgowcoffeefestival.com
