The ice cream and churro parlour has finally opened in Glasgow, here's what diners can expect

Foodies of Glasgow have been eagerly awaiting the opening of the UK's first ice cream and churro bar, which has been under renovation on Great Western Road in the city's west end.

The brightly coloured signage covered the on-going work inside but today marks the opening of the parlour, and it looks well worth a visit.

Serving a range of handcrafted ice cream, churros (which are vegan and veggie friendly), coffee and drinks, Loop and Scoop is sure to be a hit with sweet-toothed residents no matter what the weather.

Diners can look forward to ice cream flavours such as vanilla, strawberry, mint choc chip and Oreo cookie.

There will also be a hot food menu serving breakfast and lunch items such as egg and soldiers, brunch favourites like smashed avocado and toast and seasonal salads, soups and sandwiches.

The churros will be freshly made on-site, and come with a range of moreish toppings that include Nutella, salted caramel, white chocolate and peanut butter.
